May 26-29

Game On

Love all things sports? Then this camp is for you! Campers will enjoy a variety of sports this week, led by our favorite coach, Coach Brown!

Creative Writing/Photography

Does your child love to create? In this camp, children will have the opportunity to create group magazine. They will use their own interests and talents to develop and create their own article, puzzle, or photo collection.

Mad Science

Do explosions, oozing and fizzing substances, and slightly gross things make you excited? Do you ever want to take something apart just to see what the inside looks like? Our mad scientists will be exploring all these types of things during the week. There will be lots of hands on learning and fun to be had in Mad Science camp!


June 1-5

Community Service

Does your child love doing things for others? What better way to spend some time this summer than serving those in our community? During the week campers will have a variety of projects to complete around out area. Not only will they have a blast serving with their friends, but they will leave with a full heart.

Aces & Birdies

Aces & Birdies offers tennis and golf lessons to beginners. Their professional coaching staff focuses on the basics of each sport while promoting honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship. Their goal is to provide the right tools that will stay with children forever and the motto is Teaching Kids Lifelong Sports! No equipment needed as they provide it all.

Paint Party

Its your turn to become the artist! We will be creating our very own masterpieces inspired by famous artist like Picasso, Van Gough, O’Keeffe and more! So grab your paintbrush and creativity and come join our party!

Water Week

Who doesn’t like to cool off on a hot summer day? During water week campers will enjoy water relays, water slides, water games, and a trip to the water park!


June 8-12

Vacation Bible Camp

We invite 4k (by September 1st, 2019) through 5th graders to join us!  During Vacation Bible Camp we will go on a journey through space using music, crafts, games, skits, Bible study, science, and more, to explore where God’s power can take us. VBC will be June 8-12, from 9:00-12:00 each day. Please note that lunch is not included with VBC.

*Please let VHUMC know if you are not able to pay for VBC. We don’t want any child to miss this great experience because of money.


June 15-19

Pottery Camp

If your child loves really working with their hands to create, then this is the place for them! Over the week campers will work on various pieces, learn how a kiln works, and leave with beautiful pottery to show off their hard work.

Comic Camp

Does your child love all things superhero (and villain)? Comic Camp will give kids the opportunity to learn more about their favorite comics and how they are made. Then they will put their own superpowers into action to create their own comic.

Harry Potter Camp

Calling all wizards and warlocks! We are off to Hogwarts because Harry Potter Camp is back. Grab your broom sticks and wands and let the sorting hat group you into your house for a week full of defense against the dark arts, potions, charms, flying, and a friendly game of quidditch.

Knight School Chess

Who will walk away with the most beads and claim chess champion?! This is a chess camp unlike any other. Whether you have been playing for years, or just a beginner, you are guaranteed a good time. Kids will learn chess tactics through clock-slapping games, zany chess videos, puzzlers for candy- oh, and A LOT of laughter!


June 22-26

STEM Camp

Science, technology, engineering, and math combined for a camp full of problem solving, creating, and building. Kids will use a variety of materials to collaborate and solve real world problems.

Game Show

A week where all your favorite game shows come to life! Try spinning the Wheel of Fortune, battling in Family Feud, show what you know in Jeopardy. Think you have what it takes to be a game show champ?

Farm To Table

Everyone loves a big slice of pizza, or a warm batch of pancakes. In this camp children will see how the ingredients of their favorite food started out and eventually made its way to the table. They will learn through hands on activities about planting, harvesting, cooking, and composting, as well as how to make healthy eating choices.

American Girl Doll Camp

Camp is more fun when you do it with friends! Bring your favorite 18” friend for the week, we will have some DIY fun as we make things for our dolls, enjoy tea parties together, and even learn some history as we explore famous American Girls.


July 6-10

All About Alabama

This week will be an exploration of our state! We will be visiting landmarks, parks, and museums around Alabama- some are old favorites and hopefully others will be a new experience for your camper. Please note that this is an all-day camp, so you can plan for your child to be off campus approximately 8:30-5:30.

July 13-17

Game On

Love all things sports? Then this camp is for you! Campers will enjoy a variety of outdoor sports this week, created by our favorite coach- Coach Brown!

Aladdin Theatre Camp

Join us for “a whole new world” of fun this summer for our Aladdin theatre camp! Taught by COA theatre instructor and local actor, Zoe Wirt, this week will be filled with stagecraft, theatre games, and scenes from Aladdin. Students will perform a staged theatrical presentation at the end of the week.

Spy School

Welcome new recruits! Your mission, should you choose to accept it through registration, is to advance through the check points to earn your Spy Certification. Campers will learn to decode, problem solve to escape disasters, overcome physical disasters, and so much more.

Make-N-Take

This will be the ultimate camp for our crafters and DIYers! Throughout the week campers will work with various medium, craft a variety of things, and of course tackle some fun DIY projects!


July 20-24

Music & Art

Our music and arts camp provides kids the opportunity to learn and grow in creative ways through singing, instruments, theater, movement, and drumming. Parents, family, and friends are all invited to attend a special program on Friday to see what campers have learned and created. There is no limit of registrants for this camp, so bring a friend!

Camp Lee

Join us for a fun-filled week at Camp Lee! This all-day camp offers the ideal camp experience such as canoeing, hiking, swimming, arts/crafts, fellowship, and much more! Parents should plan for their campers to be off campus from approximately 8:30-5:30.
